What you need
A tablet with eSIM
Wi-Fi-only tablets can't take a mobile plan. Look for “Cellular”, “5G” or “LTE” in the model name.
An unlocked tablet
Bought from a store or unlocked by your carrier, so it takes any eSIM.
Data, not calls
Tablet plans are for data. Call and text over Wi-Fi apps, or from your phone.
Tablets that work
Not every cellular model supports eSIM in every country. Check your tablet's settings for “Add eSIM” or “Add cellular plan”.

Yes. Every Unlimit plan includes mobile hotspot, so you can share your phone's data with a laptop or tablet right now.
Tablet plans are data only. For calls and texts, use your Unlimit phone line or Wi-Fi calling apps.
Wi-Fi + Cellular iPads do; Wi-Fi-only models can't take a mobile plan. In Settings, look for Cellular Data and “Add eSIM” or “Set Up Cellular Data”.
